Student Information System (SIS) Training and Resources

SIS has four functional applications: Admissions, Student Records, Billings/Receivables and Financial Aid Management.  These four applications are fully integrated which means they share, rather than duplicate the data and processes they have in common.  For example, data which are used by more than one office, such as student addresses, are stored only once in the system but can be displayed on various screens.

Currently the only training available online is Basic SIS Training.  If you need more advanced training and there is not a resource for you in your department, please contact the Training Coordinator to assist you with finding the appropriate training.

Student Employees are required to review the FERPA Training for Student Employees PowerPoint and then sign (along with their supervisor) the Student Employee Statement of FERPA Understanding (SESFU). The signed and dated SESFU must be received by the SIS Access Coordinator, in 2250 Student Services Building, before access will be established. You may also scan and e-mail the signed form to the SIS Access Coordinator.
